A bench beside the Water Tower uses a timber rafter motif to recall Lent’s river and wine heritage.

Odtisi časa (Imprints of Time) stands beside the Water Tower in Maribor's Lent district, close to the Drava River. The fifth art bench in the Stories of Benches and People project was created by Jernej Forbici, Marika Vicari and Vladimir Forbici. Made from metal and wood, it was unveiled on 11 December 2015. Its design draws on the history of the riverfront and the nearby Renaissance Water Tower.

The bench's central column features a timber rafter, recalling Lent's past as a river port where rafts carried timber and other goods along the Drava. Wine is another part of the concept, reflecting the wine shop housed in the Water Tower. The artwork brings together two traditions closely associated with Maribor.

The artists are connected with the Art Stays cultural association and the FO.VI Gallery near Kidričevo. Their bench is part of a series of original artworks designed for everyday public spaces. On the riverside promenade, Imprints of Time links contemporary design with the city's rafting history and life beside the Drava.
