The Alfi Nipič Museum in Jarenina near Pesnica explores the life and career of a singer known for Slovenian popular and folk music. Opened in 2024 in a restored former primary school, its permanent exhibition Ostal bom muzikant (I Will Remain a Musician) follows his journey from early performances to the Avsenik Brothers Ensemble and his solo career.
The collection includes photographs, posters, concert recordings, stage clothing, awards and gold records. Displays recall his appearances at the Popevka vesele jeseni music festival, the song Silvestrski poljub and international tours. Jarenina has a personal link to the story: Nipič organised two Avsenik Brothers Ensemble concerts here, in 1983 and 1988.
Audio and video displays add another dimension to the exhibition. The building also has a hall for concerts and cultural events, while a wine cellar presents wines from local growers. The exhibition was developed with curatorial guidance from the Maribor Museum of National Liberation.
