An active experience on the River Drava
The SUP tour in Lent combines activity on the water, views of Maribor's oldest district and relaxation after a working day. Participants see the waterfront from the river, gaining a different perspective on the historic part of the city.
Along the route are the Judgement Tower, remains of the medieval city walls, the Jewish Tower beside the synagogue and the Water Tower. The Water Tower was built to defend the city against Ottoman raids. Beside it, Usnjarska ulica, one of the city's oldest streets, leads towards the city centre.
