Meeting the animal family

Valdek is a family hobby farm where animals are part of the family. During the walk, the host introduces their personalities, stories and care.

The estate is home to around 50 animals: Icelandic horses, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, ducks and chickens. The visit includes close encounters in their enclosures and time for stroking and grooming. The longer option also includes a walk with donkeys.

Groups and visit conditions

Private visits are arranged for individual groups. According to the published price list, scheduled group visits accommodate up to 15 participants.

Participants follow the hosts’ instructions. Animals may be fed only as instructed and under the hosts’ supervision. Visitors’ dogs are not permitted on animal visits. Clothing and footwear suitable for a farm visit are recommended. Visits and activities with animals are undertaken at participants’ own risk.

Getting to the estate

The venue is Jareninski Vrh 31, 2221 Jarenina. The estate is in the valley. If navigation directs visitors uphill just before arrival, the entrance is before the slope, at the end of the fence, turning left through the hornbeam avenue.

Payment and cancellation

Visit and payment instructions are sent by email after booking. Payment is accepted in cash or by bank transfer; credit cards are not accepted.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email. If the organiser cancels a visit that has already been paid for, the payment is refunded.
