The Falski Tajht Experience combines walking and e-biking on Pohorje. The programme leads from the upper station of the Pohorska vzpenjača gondola via Ruševec and Areh to Tiho jezero and back. 1. Walk to Ruševec
The meeting point is the upper station of the Pohorska vzpenjača gondola. The walking section follows Rozka’s Forest Nature Trail past St Bolfenk’s Church, the viewpoint at the top of the Stolp ski slope, the upper station of the Videc ski lift and the turn-off for Mariborska koča to Ruševec.
Distance: 2.8 km. Total ascent: 120 m.
2. Breakfast and e-bike collection
Breakfast in Ruševec features local produce, including Pohorje honey, ham and homemade bread. E-bike collection includes bicycle adjustment and a short introduction to safe riding.
3. Cycling section and stops
Route: Ruševec → Mariborska koča → Reški vrh → Areh → Bajgot, with a visit to the Šumik waterfalls → Falski tajht, also known as Tiho jezero → Mizni vrh → Bajgot → Cojzarica hut → Glažuta → Ruševec.
Distance: 36.7 km. Total ascent: 1,000 m.
A qualified mountain guide leads the visit to the Veliki Šumik and Mali Šumik waterfalls. Refreshments afterwards include a drink, fruit and energy bars. A picnic and a relaxation or meditation activity follow at Tiho jezero. The programme includes homemade apple strudel at Cojzarica hut.
4. Culinary finale and return
