The price includes a guided tour of Lent, three guided wine tastings, admission and professional guidance at the Museum of the Oldest Vine, meetings with at least four participating neighbours and refreshments around a long table.
Lent through its neighbours’ stories
The walk presents the former rafting harbour through the people who live and create beside the Drava today. Stories of historic guilds and craftsmanship connect with contemporary art, crafts and everyday life in the district.
Meetings with local creators
The programme includes encounters with at least four neighbours. Listed participants include a sommelier, poet, sculptor, fashion designer, painter, potter and osteopath. They introduce their work and their relationship with the neighbourhood; the selection may change according to availability.
Heritage and flavours
The route includes the Museum of the Oldest Vine with professional guidance, the Oldest Vine and its house, and visits to the Water and Judgement Towers. The museum’s presentation also includes the Minoriti Cultural Quarter.
Three guided tastings feature wines from the Štajerska Slovenija wine district. Snacks and conversation around a long table beneath a descendant of the Oldest Vine round off the experience.
Meeting point
The earlier Visit Maribor listing names the Water Tower at Lent as the starting point. The exact meeting point and sequence of stops are confirmed when booking.
