Trikotna jasa is an open clearing on the slopes of Maribor's Pohorje, above Hotel Arena and the Snežni stadion ski area. Popular with hikers and runners, it is also part of the ski slopes in winter. Its distinctive feature is the view across Maribor and the wine-growing hills of northeastern Slovenia, visible from the terrace of the hillside hut.
Trikotna jasa Hut provides a place to stop during a walk up or down the mountain. The clearing can be reached on foot from the base of Pohorje or approached from higher trails. Nearby, woodland alternates with open ski runs, giving the hillside a different character in summer and winter.
The clearing is also the starting point of the PohorJet summer toboggan run, which descends towards Snežni stadion. The seasonal Pohorje Trio experience combines a cable-car ride, mountain trikes and a short walk to Trikotna jasa with the toboggan descent. Walking, panoramic views and seasonal activities meet at this well-known stop above the city.
