Preserving our heritage
Decorating Easter eggs has been part of Frančiška Šafarič's life for many years. These eggs are among the most beautiful forms of Slovenian folk art and have long symbolized life and fertility. She paints various traditional Slovenian motifs on chicken, goose, and duck eggs.
In addition to decorating Easter eggs, Frančiška Šafarič creates bouquets of delicate crêpe paper flowers. She often includes dried lavender or sage from her garden.
