Polena Sports and Recreation Centre (ŠRC Polena) is located in Lenart, in the Slovenske gorice hills. It is a local hub for sport and community events, bringing together playing fields, circular tracks and outdoor recreation areas used by sports clubs, amateur athletes and visitors of different ages.
A distinctive feature is the sandy circular track, which hosts trotting races and is also used by runners, hikers and walkers outside competition times. A separate paved circuit serves both cycling clubs and recreational cyclists. The centre also has a football pitch, a beach volleyball court and an area for boules, offering several ways to stay active outdoors.
Polena also hosts sports and community gatherings. Events include the Slovenske gorice Sports Day, running competitions and the traditional KOS agricultural and crafts fair. Beyond organised sport, the centre is a place where residents and visitors come together in Lenart.
