Handmade Styrian souvenirs and themed walks reveal lesser-known stories of Maribor.

Rajzefiber, on Ulica škofa Maksimilijana Držečnika in central Maribor, combines a shop selling locally made souvenirs with a programme of themed city walks. It is part of the Hiša! association, which develops creative ways to share the city's cultural heritage, local characters and lesser-known stories.

The shop offers original, handmade souvenirs created by Styrian artists and craftspeople. Its approach is based on nanotourism, which emphasises local responsibility, personal experiences and meaningful connections with a place. Rather than mass-produced souvenirs, the products reflect the creativity and identity of the local community.

Another important part of Rajzefiber is its themed walking tours, developed with residents, artists and local organisations. Through history, architecture and everyday life, they reveal less familiar sides of Maribor. Rajzefiber also organises the Festival of Walks, offering different perspectives on the city and its stories.
