Maribor Centre of Experiments

Maribor Centre of Experiments on Zagrebška cesta is an interactive science centre where visitors explore natural phenomena through hands-on activities. Its permanent collection features around 50 experiments covering physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and technology. Rather than simply observing exhibits, children and adults can test scientific principles themselves.

The centre's defining feature is learning through direct experience. After a short introduction, visitors can try the experiments independently, with demonstrators available to provide guidance. The centre also organises science and technology workshops and educational programmes for primary and secondary schools.

Opened in 2009, the centre now operates under the European Cultural and Technological Centre Maribor. Its activities also include robotics programmes and educational birthday celebrations featuring LEGO robotics. It offers families, school groups and curious individuals an opportunity to explore science through practical discovery.
