Barbarian fashion is a Slovenian fashion label founded by designer Nataly Coljnar in 2020. Its boutique is on Glavni trg in central Maribor, in a passageway where the shop is connected to a dressmaking atelier upstairs. Sample pieces for the collections are developed there, linking the retail space with the brand's design process.
The label combines sporty elegance with distinctive cuts. Women's clothing ranges from skirts, trousers and blazers to coats and more expressive pieces for special occasions. Men's collections focus on sportswear and casual styles, with crystal details on selected designs. Materials include cotton, viscose, silk, lace and wool.
Each garment is handmade in Slovenia and the collections cover everyday wear, work and evening occasions. Barbarian fashion adds to Maribor's independent fashion scene, bringing locally designed clothing and a working atelier together in the historic city centre.
