The Maribor Dairy and Meat Pavilion is a separate covered section of the city's central market on Koroška cesta, next to Vodnikov trg. It brings together sellers of meat, dairy products, bread and other foods. The pavilion complements the outdoor stalls and offers a place to shop for fresh produce in the historic city centre.
The selection includes fresh meat, poultry, cured meats, milk and cheese, as well as eggs, bread, baked goods and pastries. Teas, herbs and other food products are also available. Farmers, butchers and bakers from Maribor and the surrounding area introduce shoppers to foods associated with the Drava Plain and Slovenian Styria.
The renovated pavilion opened in 2023, providing permanent premises for food vendors and a covered shopping space. Together with the main market, it remains part of everyday life in Maribor and a place to encounter regional food traditions.
