Ferata is a part of the hiking trail going from Zgornje Poljčane, past Dom na Boču to the top of Boč. Climbing path is short (10-15 min) but very demanding.

The Boč Climbing Route is a short but highly demanding via ferrata on the slopes of Mount Boč, rising to approximately 978 metres. Also known as the Styrian Triglav, the mountain stands above Zgornje Poljčane. The approach follows a marked forest trail past Dom na Boču mountain hut before reaching the protected climbing section on the way to the summit.

The route's defining feature is its steep rock face secured with steel cables. Certain sections require considerable upper-body strength, with vertical and slightly overhanging passages. Although the climbing section takes only 10 to 15 minutes, its C/D difficulty rating makes it suitable for experienced climbers. A helmet, climbing harness and via ferrata lanyard are essential.

After the climb, the route rejoins the marked hiking trail leading to the 20-metre observation tower on Mount Boč, with views across eastern Slovenia. The surrounding landscape forms part of a protected landscape park, while the area near the mountain hut is known for the rare, protected pasqueflower. The route combines technical climbing with the natural heritage of Boč.
