A circular ride from Ruše towards Glažuta combines forest roads and Pohorje's glassmaking heritage.

Glažutarska is a circular cycling route through Ruško Pohorje, forming part of the eight marked Ride Ruše trails. Starting in Ruše in the Drava Valley, it climbs the wooded slopes of Pohorje towards the Glažuta area. The 27-kilometre route alternates between paved and gravel roads, reaching its highest point at 1,053 metres above sea level.

The route's name recalls Pohorje's historic glassmaking industry, which depended heavily on the surrounding forests. Timber provided fuel for glass furnaces, and the glassworks played an important role in the mountain's economic history. Today, extensive woodland and forest roads characterise the landscape through which the cycling route passes.

With 831 metres of climbing, Glažutarska is suited to recreational cyclists with good fitness and experience on varied surfaces. Almost half the route follows gravel roads, adding variety to the ascent and descent. The ride combines a physical challenge with the forest landscape and a connection to the former glassworks that once shaped life on Pohorje.
