A circular ride from Ruše explores Pohorje's forests and the heritage of the Lobnica timber chute.

Lobniška riža – Ride Ruše is a 32-kilometre circular cycling route through Ruško Pohorje, climbing from Ruše into the forested hills above the Drava Valley. One of eight marked routes in the Ride Ruše network, it follows a combination of paved and gravel roads. With 912 metres of ascent, the ride is suited to cyclists with good fitness and experience of climbing.

The route takes its name from Lobniška riža, a historic water-powered timber chute used to transport logs from Pohorje's forests down into the valley. Along the Lobnica stream, wooden channels once carried timber towards sawmills and other local industries. The system formed an important part of the region's forestry, timber processing and glassmaking history.

The cycling route climbs to 1,108 metres above sea level, with most of the ride following gravel forest roads. The wider Lobnica area is also home to the Šumik old-growth forest and the Veliki Šumik waterfall, reflecting the natural diversity of Pohorje. The route combines forest cycling with the industrial and cultural history of the mountain.
