Maribor Views (Mariborski pogledi) is a collection of themed walking routes to three hills: Piramida, Kalvarija and Pekrska gorca. The routes combine short hikes with different perspectives of Maribor and its surroundings. Passing through green hillsides and vineyard landscapes, they reveal views of the city centre, the Drava River, Pohorje and the surrounding countryside.
A distinctive feature is the information boards with QR codes, providing details about the viewpoints and local heritage. The route to Piramida has five viewpoint boards and an introductory board, while Kalvarija has four boards and Pekrska gorca three. These stops add historical, cultural and natural context to each walk.
Each hill has its own character. Piramida is associated with the remains of Maribor's former castle, Kalvarija with its Stations of the Cross chapels, and Pekrska gorca with vineyards and the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows. The relatively easy routes offer a way to explore Maribor beyond its streets and understand the city from different vantage points.
