A short forest hike leads to conglomerate rocks linked to a local legend about the devil.

Hudičeve skale, or Devil's Rocks, are unusual rock formations on a wooded ridge above Kamnica, north of Maribor. A hiking trail of approximately one kilometre leads up from Kamnica through the forest, forming part of the longer route towards Tojzlov vrh. The rocks offer views of Maribor Island, Lake Maribor and the Drava Valley.

The formations originated from gravel and sand deposited by the Drava River when it flowed at a higher level than today. Over time, the sediments hardened into conglomerate rock, which later cracked and weathered into its present shape. The gaps and passages between the boulders reveal the geological history of the area.

A local legend explains the name: the devil supposedly carried the rocks up from the Drava Valley, intending to throw them onto Kamnica. At sunrise, a rooster crowed, causing him to lose his power and abandon the stones. The relatively easy walk takes around 20 to 30 minutes and is also suitable for family outings. Care is needed around the rock edges and steeper ground.
