On 20 and 21 March 2026, Maribor will host the International Chili, Chocolate and Delicacies Festival – an international event where sweet, spicy, and refined flavours come together in an unforgettable culinary experience. Once again, the city will become a meeting point for bold tastes, creative makers, and curious gourmets united by a shared passion for original gastronomy.

In its 7th edition, the festival will feature more than 30 top creators of chili, chocolate, and delicacy products from Slovenia and abroad.

Alongside the already renowned sweet-and-spicy creations, this year we are premiering the DELICACIES programme – a curated space where chili and chocolate are paired with selected cheeses, cured meats, spreads, oils, truffles, fermented specialties, and other gourmet highlights.

These delicacies will demonstrate how the heat of chili perfectly complements rich, aged flavours, while chocolate surprises as an ideal partner to savoury and aromatic dishes. Together, they create a harmony of contrasts that delights the palate and challenges traditional culinary boundaries.
