The Water & Light Festival 2026 will illuminate Gornja Radgona and Radgona in Austria. Twelve light and sound installations will reveal the hidden treasures of water, nature and science.

Between 15 and 25 October 2026, Gornja Radgona and Radgona in Austria will become a cross-border venue for contemporary light art.
The Water & Light Festival 2026 brings together art, water, nature and science. Between 6.00 pm and 10.00 pm, light and sound installations at 12 locations will welcome visitors, revealing the region’s hidden treasures – thermal and mineral waters, mofettes, geological features and the mysterious world of water from the depths.
Organised as part of the Interreg deProfundis project, the festival invites people of all ages to discover the shared water landscape of two towns and two countries in a new way.
