On Splavarski prehod in Maribor’s Lent district, Konoba Dario brings Dalmatian and Mediterranean cooking to the historic riverside quarter. Chef Dario personally selects fish and seafood from fishermen each week, bringing Adriatic ingredients to the kitchen in Maribor. The vaulted interior and coastal menu give the restaurant the character of a traditional konoba.
The menu includes octopus salad, marinated anchovies, salt-cod spread, Drniš prosciutto and Pag cheese. Hot dishes feature cuttlefish black risotto, seafood risotto, prawn pasta and fresh fish. Seasonal ingredients and traditional cooking methods shape the selection, while a sommelier helps match wines to the food.
The restaurant is a place for lunch or dinner while exploring Lent, close to the Drava and Maribor’s old town. On selected evenings, live music adds to the Dalmatian atmosphere. Its focus remains on seafood, regional specialities and the experience of dining in the restaurant.
