On Koroška Road in central Maribor, Wine Bar Finesa brings an Italian-inspired wine-bar concept to the city. Opened in 2024 by hospitality professional Andrej Koren, the venue focuses on enjoying wine in an informal setting. Coffee and a small food selection complement the drinks, giving Finesa the character of both a daytime café and an evening wine bar.
The selection features around 150 different labels of wine, spirits and beer. Guests can stop for a drink during the day or meet over wine in the evening, with staff available to help them choose. Food includes cold-cut platters, sandwiches and bruschetta, following the idea of simple dishes served alongside wine.
Finesa has also taken part in Maribor's Old Vine Festival. In 2024, it joined other local wine bars in presenting wines at an event held in the arcades of Maribor Castle. Its location on Koroška Road places it within walking distance of the historic old town and Main Square.
