A family farm in Celestrina near Malečnik turning homegrown chili peppers into spicy specialties. Selected sauce, oil and salt products bear the Our Finest certificate.
Kmetija Legnar is a small family-run farm growing chili peppers and creating premium chili products, with most of the work still done by hand. Its products are made in the idyllic Slovenske gorice hills, in Celestrina, surrounded by vineyards.
During the season, they plant over 50 different chili varieties, while their own seed bank contains more than 200 varieties. They combine homegrown chili with other ingredients to create a balance of flavor, heat and saltiness. Alongside the certified products, the selection includes Haizer – aged grape brandy with chili.
