Group Slovenian Percussion Project (SToP for short) has been operating since 1999. The percussionists were united by the desire to play chamber music, perform quality compositions, and explore new percussion sounds. Thus, in interesting, but above all rhythmic concerts, they present a whole range of classical, ethnological, and other percussion instruments, which can also mean cooking pots, dishes, toys, car brakes, pipes, table tennis rackets, balls, nails, hammers, barrels, whistles, ratchets, and so on.

Openness to musical influences and new ideas leads the academic percussionists who have joined forces in SToP to interesting projects. Their ability and desire to perform classical music, their own compositions, and also contemporary electro-acoustic percussion music confirm the uniqueness of this group in Slovenia and abroad.
