Euro is the official currency in Slovenia.
Cash and traveler's checks can be exchanged at banks, post offices and exchange offices, and many ATMs are also available.
The exchange rate is available on the Bank of Slovenia's website.
Prices of tourist offers are still somewhat lower in Slovenia than in the neighbouring Austria and Italy.
Euro is the official currency in Slovenia since 1 January 2007.
