From the eco-home garden to table!
In an idyllic location, where the slopes of Framsko Pohorje settle in a plain, where the silence and serenity of the surrounding forests and meadows reign, the Eco Idila - Baron homestead has been standing for more than 200 years.
In 1991, they started a tourist activity on the farm, and in 1999 they focused on nature-friendly farming, for which they have been receiving an organic farming certificate for many years.
The farm covers 18 ha, of which 8 ha are fields, meadows, orchards, herb, and vegetable gardens, thus ensuring the self-sufficiency of the farm.
The homestead kindly opens its doors to all visitors who want to learn how to manage in a nature-friendly way without causing harm to the environment and nature, so they organize many workshops and programmes and prepare homemade lunches on weekends.
