An authentic logging ride down the Drava

Learn all about the history of log rafting and the timber industry, then ride a log raft down the Drava, just like they did in the old days!

But since this profession has never been easy, you’ll be put to work as well! Not only will you have to whip up a rafter’s meal and cook coffee over an open flame, but you’ll also have to learn to row with a proper rafter’s oar. Are you ready?

The trip starts at Koblar’s Bay and goes down to Lent, which used to serve as a dock for rafts and chaikas (a type of small galley or covered raft). 

• Welcome at the Rafters’ Dock House (Koblar’s Bay) and an amuse bouche of bread and salt, served with an aperitif
