MKC Maribor is organising the 32nd International Festival of Computer Arts (MFRU), this year under the title I Sing the Body Electric.

For more than three decades, the festival has brought together art, science and contemporary technologies, providing a space for exploring new forms of intermedia and digital art. This year’s edition focuses on the relationship between the body and contemporary technologies, exploring how artificial intelligence, data, social media and virtual environments are transforming our understanding of the body, identity and everyday life.

Taking place at various locations across Maribor, the festival will bring together Slovenian and international artists through exhibitions, intermedia projects and an accompanying programme, raising questions about our increasingly close coexistence with technology. . Supporting young and emerging artists also remains an important part of MFRU, with selected projects presented as part of a group exhibition.
