Children's Week in UGM

During Children’s Week, families are invited to explore UGM’s exhibitions for free and join a creative wood workshop on Saturday, 10 October, at 10:00. Build your own unusual architectural and sculptural creations!

Dear children, during Children’s Week, as part of the Discovering Heritage Through Play project, we invite you and your families to visit UGM’s exhibitions for free.

Explore the colourful exhibition *Spekter* and visit UGM Kabinet, where you can see Dutch artist Bart Lunenburg’s *Window Closing, Threads Spinning, Chair Falling*. Lunenburg plays with space, architecture and everyday objects, placing them in unusual situations.

On Saturday, 10 October, at 10:00, join us for a creative wood workshop. We will assemble, connect and transform pieces of wood to create unusual architectural and sculptural forms. What you make is limited only by your imagination! The wood has been kindly provided by the Secondary School of Woodworking and Forestry in Maribor.

Admission to the exhibitions and workshop is free.

Online inquiry forms are currently unavailable. For all inquiries and reservations, please contact us directly at tic@maribor.si
