Wandering around the Rački Ribniki-Požeg Landscape Park.

The 12km Grebe Trail is the longest trail in the Rački Ribniki-Požeg Landscape Park which is situated at the edge of the Drava Plain and covers 484ha.

It mainly comprises a lowland mixed forest, meadows with hedges and still water. The park is the habitat for rare and endangered plant and animal species. There are more than 210 bird species, 50 dragonfly species and 12 amphibian species, to mention only the most significant and loudest ones.

Sights include a castle, a white stork's nest, a botanical garden with the largest collection of aquatic and riparian plants in Slovenia, a lowland floodplain forest, woodland birds, a variety of trees, bushes and herbs, and the Turn and Rače ponds with their flora and fauna (water chestnut, fringed water lily, amphibians, dragonflies, waterfowl).
